Hi I’m Cyree Jarelle,
I’ve helped queers, feminists, witches, and otherwise marginalized folks connect to the divine for the last 11 years at Temperance Queer Tarot.
I guide people through the alternate possibilities for their lives with tarot and cartomancy. I am the third (known) clairvoyant in my matrilineal line. I have been studying and reading tarot cards for twenty one years.
I’ve read tarot for hundreds of people and they’ve all had one thing in common: they were looking for clarity. I can help with that.
I’m passionate about creating a confidential, comfortable space for those who work with me.
That’s why readings happen at my kitchen table. I promise not to tell a soul what we discuss in our sessions.
Privacy is among my highest values. (I’m a 12th house sun and venus, so I mean it!)
Tarot allows those who have been systematically denied access to spirituality an opportunity to reflect and gain certainty. It connects us to ourselves and our ancestors. It is a tool for introspection, future-seeing, and world building.
When I’m not reading tarot, Lenormand, or playing cards or teaching classes, I work in the disability justice movement, write books, and make a ton of TikToks.
I have an adorable familiar/assistant named Brad the Cat, in case you were wondering who the little man walking by was during your reading.

We are agents of whatever talents we possess. There’s no room for arrogance when I center myself in the knowledge that any power I have is not meant in the service of ego and self-aggrandizement, but in the service of my ancestors, my community, my highest self, and god/the universe/all that is.

Anti-Oppression
Spirit work must actively work against all forms of oppression or it creates more oppression. My work as a seer are in the service of ending internal and external manifestations of ableism, transphobia, homophobia, patriarchy, colonization, racism, and all other systems of inequity.

It is my promise that nothing shared with me or found in the course of a reading will be shared with another by my mouth, hand, or any other medium or method. If i am asked directly about your reading by someone else, i will not confirm or deny.

Body/Mind Sovereignty
I don’t make or sell condition oils intended to dominate or control others romantically or sexually.

Land Sovereignty
I was born on unceded Lenni Lenape land, where my matrilineal family has lived since we were kidnapped and forced into enslavement several centuries ago. I now live on Piscataway land. In acknowledgement of that, I strive to be a conscientious resident of this land and support the #landback movement. I am against Israeli apartheid. Some oils explicitly call for olive oil from Israel. These oils will be sourced otherwise.

Earth Loving
Whenever possible, home extracted oil will be substituted for essential oils, which I use rarely and sparely because of their overuse of our earth’s resources. Unfortunately, this can only be done when it does not sacrifice the quality of the final condition oil. Some oils are vegan, some are very not vegan. Be sure to read the descriptions closely if you have restrictions.

Right to Intercession
I believe in asking the other side(s) for what we want and need. I believe it is ethical to influence an unjust world with help from whatever we can find. I believe in love drawing, money drawing, success drawing, enhancing psychic gifts, and most of all, I believe in our right to protect ourselves.

Right to Retaliation & Retribution
I believe that laying tricks, crossing, and dominating are justified only when earned. Sometimes this is objective, but otherwise I believe that should be determined through divination and meditation. Just because a job works don’t mean it’s not working on you too!
